The Five Steps Of Martyrdom

The first step towards martyrdom is to place one foot in the grave. The second step is to place the other foot in the grave. The third step is to lie down, close the eyes, stop breathing and die. The fourth step is to open the eyes in paradise. The fifth step is to enjoy the rewards of martyrdom in paradise. Sometimes a little outside help is needed in completing the third step, help that is not always appreciated by those who come to pay their respects at the martyr's grave, especially when too much outside help is given without consent.

Was Christianity The Key To Peace In The Middle East?

 I'm beginning to realize what it was that's central to Jewish-Arab animosity since the beginning of the first millennium onwards. 

Religion. 

The Jews have Judaism, non-negotiable, the Arabs have Islam, non-negotiable, and never shall the twain meet. 

Arab Christians and Israeli Christians, however, are bonded in love for each other just as Jesus commanded them, to 'love one another as I have loved you'.

Christianity, therefore, may be the key to peaceful co-existence between both Arabs and Jews, or Israelis, in the Middle East, not Judaism or Islam, both proven to be religions not of peace or love or tolerance but of violence, hatred and holy war in the case of one and vengeance and retribution in the case of the other.

Double-standard politics or political viewpoints are like a man with blurred vision reading the news.

When the news concerns what appears to be an illegal act committed by a non-Jewish nation, the man reads it without his reading glasses. Everything's blurred but he doesn't care. Let them do what they want. Who cares?

However, when the news singles out a Jewish nation as being the perpetrator of what appears to be an illegal act deemed to be in the interests of national security on the Jewish nation's part, that's when he puts on his reading glasses.

Conflict Resolution For Pre-Schoolers

   There once were two farmers, Farmer Jacob and Farmer Ismail, whose farms were separated by a large swathe of land known as the grazing field that was right in the middle of both farms.

  They and their families had lived on their farms for generations and generations for thousands of years. 

   Both the Jacob and Ismail families lived in peace with each other, except for one item of contention: whom the grazing field between both farms belonged to.

   The Jacob family claimed it belonged to their ancestors. The Ismail family claimed it belonged to their forefathers. 

   But they were not violent people who believed in settling their differences by violence. They were decent human beings who believed in the goodness of their neighbors, which was what people liked to believe about themselves in those days.

   It was also believed that the main reason for such a peaceful outcome was possibly linked to the presence of Police Constable Keepum D'Peace Um, who was always poking his nose into other people's business' while on his peacekeeping rounds, as he liked to call them, whose own family had also been around for thousands of years, keeping the peace from generation to generation.

   And this was how the Keepum D'Peace Um family of police constables managed to do that, keep the peace between both farming families from generation to generation.

   The head of the Police Constable Keepum D'Peace Um family would summon both the heads of the Farmer Jacob and Farmer Ismail farming families to what was known as a table talk, whereupon he would seat them down and say, 'In the interests of peace on this portion of earth, here's what I shall propose.'

'Option One. Both families draw a straight line down the middle and split the land into two equal halves, one for each family.'

'Option Two. Both families share the land, allowing their livestock-their sheep, their goats, their cattle-to wander throughout the length and breadth of the land and graze wherever they like, returning home after the grazing was done, each to its own home.'

   And it was always the second option both neighbors opted for, always, from generation to generation, mainly because it involved no extra work, no unnecessary border demarcation work, no unnecessary barbed-wire fencing work and no unnecessary barricaded border crossing gate construction work on their part, it was believed.

   And yes, from then onwards they all lived happily ever after, from generation to generation, for thousands of years, even until this very day, it was believed.

Why Saying 'F*%k Israel' Can Be Hazardous To One's Heath & Well-Being

 The word 'Israel' contains the suffix, 'El', which in Hebrew means 'God'.

According to biblical folklore - a nice secular way of putting it, no? - Israel was the name given to Jacob, son of Isaac and grandson of Abraham, patriarchs of the tribe of modern-day Israel, all of them, as a result of having wrestled with presumably an angel sent by God all night until daybreak, literally, physically, man-to-man, for angels in those days walked the earth like ordinary people did, a name meaning 'He who struggles with God'.

What? F*% he who struggles with me, as God would say in response to someone saying 'F*%k Israel for reasons of his/her own, since he, God, identified by name in the suffix 'El', was uttered in the same breath when he was cursed by whoever it was that cursed Israel?

Well, well, well, let's see about that, shall we, who f*%ks whom, as the imagined reply would be, although God, holy as he was as declared by himself to be, again, according to biblical folklore, wouldn't be expected to stoop to such low levels of vulgarity no matter what. His imagined response, in line with his good name, high office and holy reputation, would probably be something along the lines of 'okay, foul-mouthed mortal, let's see who curses whom' and so on.

So, do be careful the next time you're tempted to say 'F*%k Israel', as God, as identified by name in the suffix 'El' in 'Israel', might not take it too kindly as his name was mentioned in the same breath when you cursed Israel with such an expression of your hatred.

Incidentally, you might also want to be careful when the temptation to curse people with names other than 'Israel' arises for whatever the reason as many names, be they Jewish, Italian, Spanish and so on contain the word or suffix 'God' in them, names such as Gabriel, Jewish, which contains the suffix 'El', or 'God' in Hebrew, Giovani, Italian for 'God has shown favor', Juanito, Spanish for 'The Lord is gracious' and so on.

What a minefield this booby-trapped world of ours was, wasn't it?

There's A Claymore At The Door Facing Outwards

As you know, the devil was cast down to the earth to mislead the world with lies and deceit, the marks of his trade, in order to snatch people away from following God to following him instead to that pit of burning sulphur that was created specially for him and his children, his flock, all those who belong to him, whose names were not written in the book of life, that place where the worm does not die, nor were the flames extinguished.

It has been written, do not give to dogs what is holy nor cast your pearls before swine, for they may trample them, and afterwards turn around and tear you to pieces.

But verily I say to you, fear not they who can kill the body but not the soul.

Fear they who, let the reader be discerning, will deceive you into believing that everything God has forbidden unto you -killing, raping, butchering, decapitating, disemboweling of pregnant women, adultery, fornication, pillaging, plundering, abducting, kidnapping, enslaving of captive women for sexual purposes, everything evil, wicked and detestable - was permissible and desirable if done in God's holy name.

Their prophets are everywhere, on every street corner, calling you to prayer, inviting you to join them in sinning against God in every sinful way declared sinless by them if done in God's holy name, and risking the reward for such evildoing as a result, a fiery reward in an eternal pit of burning sulphur.

Do not invite such serpents into your homes or share bread with them, for what they seek is the eternal destruction of your soul together with them in everlasting hell.

This is their purpose on earth as recruiting agents for their lord and master, Satan, the Great Deceiver.

India's so-called rape culture was a self-inflicted wound stemming from the practice of gender segregation prevalent in all sectors of Indian society since time immemorial with a few exceptions - metropolitan university campuses, church communal gatherings and Anglo-Indian house parties where free mixing of the sexes was as natural as breathing with no bad thoughts on the part of any party as would be found in the more rural, Hindu-or-Islam-majority regions of the sub-continent, mischievously referred to as 'backward' especially by westernized New Delhi university students from upper-class backgrounds.

Indian men, in particular the unmarried ones, in these so-called less metropolitan parts, having been denied all their adult lives from coming into social contact with the opposite sex, or what society has taught them from childhood to regard as forbidden fruit, will, given the opportunity, take and enjoy by force what society has forbidden unto them except by marriage.

Similarly, young female hijabis, restricted by Islam, their elders, their community leaders, their imams, their muftis, their ulamas and their mullahs from displaying their physically attractive forms as women were universally wont to do as part of the natural selection process as nature intended which certain segments of society suppress for various reasons including religious ones, will find other less publicly restrictive ways, such as those made available by social media platforms such as Tik Tok for example among others, to wantonly exhibit unto the world the seductiveness of what they were taught from childhood to regard as forbidden fruit from beneath their outer forbidden fruit-enshrouding garments, if we're taking about burkas, which practically none of these young female Tik Tok hijabi seductresses were hindered by in any case.

The word of God after having been processed in the adulteration chambers and heavily edited in the editorial department of the Catholic Church on the contrary was like honey, sweet and delightful to the ears.

The Catholic Church, you must understand, believes itself to be the voice of God, God's anointed representative or emissary, on earth, and hence does what it does as it sees fit.

As for the Pope, well, he was considered to be none other than Peter, the first pope, his successor, who oversaw and guided his flock, baptized Catholics, in the way he and the church elders decided they should go for the salvation of their souls through the forgiveness of sins.

Who knows? After all, with almost 1.4 billion baptized Catholics in the world today including the chief shepherd and his cardinals, surely they could not all be wrong, now could they?

Why Eid Al-Adha Was The Islamic World's Biggest Missed Opportunity

Eid al-Adha, or the Feast Of The Sacrifice. one of Islam's holiest days in the Islamic calendar, is religiously observed worldwide in commemoration of Abraham's obedience to God who commanded him to sacrifice his son, Isaac, but who substituted the object of sacrifice with a ram at the last minute.

Wonderful, but what's this about it being a missed opportunity?

Ah, had the early Moslems been wise enough to have accepted other aspects of Abraham's relationship with God instead of only this particular one involving animal sacrifice which benefits everyone as it involves the consumption or mass distribution of beef or mutton which not everyone can afford to eat everyday by the way, the Arabs of today, being descendants of Ishmael, would be entitled to the same land rights claimed by their eternal foes, the Israelites, as God gave the land of Canaan not only to the Israelites who were led out from Egyptian bondage by Moses but also to the Ishmaelites.

I. Genesis 12:1-9

The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

2 “I will make you into a great nation,

    and I will bless you;

I will make your name great,

    and you will be a blessing.

3 I will bless those who bless you,

There it is, the Moslem World's biggest missed opportunity.

Had the early Moslems accepted what God said to Abraham about the land of Canaan and whom he was giving it to, the Arabs of today would have the same legitimate claims as their eternal foes the Israelites to a land they would not be fighting for with the bow and the sword which they have been doing for the last thirteen hundred years since the old days of the caliphates until this very day.

Ishmael was Abraham's firstborn, meaning Ishmael's descendants, the Arabs, enjoyed firstborn inheritance rights, and in the case of land inheritance rights, that would mean, had the descendants of Ishmael, the Arabs, laid claim to other aspects of Abraham's relationship with God and not just the one where Isaac was almost sacrificed on an altar as an offering to God which God did not instruct the Israelites to commemorate in any manner in any case, they, the descendants of Ishmael, the Arabs, would have a firstborn's right to say who gets which part of the inheritance and how large that portion would be and who gets the leftovers, if any, and how large or insignificant that portion would be.

A missed opportunity, wouldn't you agree?

Catholic Bullsh*t - An Example

Were you born and raised a Catholic, this is what they teach you in catechism class as a child. 

Who made you?

God made me.

Why did God make you?

God made me because he loves me.

Good. He loves me. Did you see the monstrous, cold-blooded, heartless, merciless way he treated my cat, snuffing its life out breath by breath, day by day, until all that was left to be buried was a skeletal frame covered by skin?

He could have killed it off with one slash of the sword, one thrust of the spear, but no, no point killing off a cat if one couldn't derive pleasure from torturing it first, was there?

He could have made its heart stop with a blood clot-sized bullet to the brain or suffocated it with an invisible plastic bag over its head but nope, no fun in that.

I could go on and on but what's the use, the God who made us because he loves us all treats us all like sh*t when it's time to die, cat, dog or human.

You want a nice clean, quick death? Do it yourself. The God who made you because he loves you prefers the slow death, the painful or excruciatingly painful death, the horrible death.

Wanna know how he justifies himself?

Oh, so-and-so was a bad or wicked cat, dog or human in a previous life, so his/her/its slow/painful/horrible death was justified.

Or so-and-so was a child/house pet of the devil's, so nothing to be sorry about there.

Whatever the justification, no one can say anything. He has the best lawyers in town. He OWNS the judiciary, the courts, the judges, the jury, the public prosecutor, even the cops including the police chief.

The King's Favorite Courtesan

Once upon a time, there was a kingdom called the Blue Mountain Kingdom whose king had a courtesan whose job it was to sing for the king. 

Not only was she beautiful, she was also his favorite and was thus forbidden from having a love relationship with anyone for as long as she served the king.

One day, she suffered a tragic death in her family and, just like that, she stopped singing. It was as if her world had come to an end and she no longer had any reason to go on living.

The king was most understanding, of course, as was expected of one as noble as he, but when it went on, this silence of hers, for longer than he could bear, he ordered an investigation into the cause of her distress.

When it was learnt that his favorite courtesan was pining for the love of her life whose death brought about this song-silent behavior of hers, as if her heart had been broken beyond repair and she was in mourning forever, the king flew into a rage and, out of blind jealousy, ordered her to be thrown off the cliffs to her death.

When it was learnt afterwards, although it was too late for the unfortunate courtesan by then, that the love of her life was a cat, not whom he mistakenly thought was one of his subjects, the king ordered three days of mourning to be observed throughout the kingdom in honor of a wrongly-condemned courtesan who died a wrongful death on account of a stupid cat.

This is a true account and may be found in The Annals Of The Blue Mountain Kingdom, Volume One, among other ancient texts found in the Quingjing Dynasty Collection found in the Royal Archives of the Blue Mountain Palace rumored to be somewhere beyond the shores of the furthest ocean where wars and conflicts were unheard of.

Because every Palestinian in Gaza, man, woman, boy, girl, militant, non-militant with a camera phone was potentially a field reporter/correspondent reporting on the ground for Al Jazeera with videos and photos of the carnage on the ground which would not be good for Israel's image as allegedly the most moral army on the planet.

The Seven Heads & Ten Horns Of The Beast - A Thesis

Assuming the Beast in the book of Revelation is Radical Islam for or on account of its ability to 'force people to have a mark on their foreheads or hands without which they wouldn't be able to buy or sell', something even the most powerful military in the world with all its sophisticated weapons and nuclear arsenals would be powerless to bring about let alone enforce, here's a sneak peek at its 7 heads and 10 horns, in accordance with what's been 'revealed' to me regarding it although, like in the case of Muhammad, Islam's prophet, I have no witnesses to testify that this 'revelation' was given to me by, say, an angel sent by God, the one named Gabriel, for example, as in Muhammad's case, or spoken by a voice from a burning bush as in the case of Moses, or a voice spoken from the clouds as in the case of Jesus, and Moses too, which happened in the presence of all the Israelites gathered before him, who implored him to go up further on the mountain, Mount Sinai, to hear what God had to say as they feared they would all die as no one lived who heard the voice of God spoken from out of a cloud as they believed.

It would help if I could walk on water or turn water into wine or straighten out the bent and twisted limbs of a polio-stricken child just by commanding it as in the case of Jesus so as to strengthen my case were I to say such and such a revelation was revealed to me by an angel from God, but what can I say except I have no witnesses as in Muhammad's case whose followers didn't care in any case or even dare to question the legitimacy of such unwitnessed revelations lest they be beheaded surely or whatever the punishment for questioning the legitimacy of the revelations given to Islam's prophet in modern times was.

Okay.

First, let's see what the book of Revelation says about the beast from the sea.

This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.

The Beast out of the Earth

It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. 12 It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13 And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. 14 

Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. The Jews shouldn't think too highly of themselves. They were not chosen to be God's specially-chosen people. They were chosen as an instrument God uses to make himself known to the other nations and peoples of the world, so that by coming to know of a God and his laws and decrees and obeying them, they too might be saved.

That is all the Jews were to God, an instrument, an implement, like a gardening tool one uses for some specific purpose, nothing more.
