The Prophet said consuming dates grants a Believer immunity from poison.
The Prophet also said one of rewards in paradise awaiting a martyr is 72 virgins.
The Prophet did not say these on his own but as narrated by God who narrated it to Gabriel who in turn narrated it to the Prophet.
A simple test involving volunteers and witnesses would validate the first as being true and indeed from God which in turn would validate the second as being true and indeed from God as well.
